Eugene Knauber

The Altoona Curve

My first APBA experience was the CBL (Canadian Baseball League) in the late 70s.

I'm currently in the Billy Martin League, 7th Inning league, APTBL, BLCL, Boys of Summer Baseball League,

Men of Summer Baseball League, No Expansion League, Original 16 League, PFBL, RMBL, and the True Franchise League.

To celebrate my 57th birthday (January 15), I joined the YCL.

Since I retired on disability, I've gained many friends through playing the game.  I'm looking forward to adding more friends from among the YCL members.

I live in Altoona, Pennsylvania, one of America's historic railroad towns and home of the Railroaders Memorial Museum. Altoona is about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh, in central Pennsylvania and is home to the Pirates' Double A affiliate Altoona Curve.

January 2005.
