Mike’s been an APBA player since 1963. He was a huge Willie Mays fan and his first card set contained the Giants’ 1962 pennant winner. Since then, he’s played APBA in all its forms. Mike’s the Assistant Warehouse Manager for General Mills in their largest Distribution Center in the US. He’s worked there for almost 26 years as of December 2007. Mike and his wife reside in Galesburg, Illinois (home of the Annual Galesburg Railroad Days). They have a daughter in high school, one in college and a son in the US Air Force (currently stationed in Kuwait). Mike served two tours of duty in Vietnam. In addition to APBA, Mike is a sports fan, an avid reader of military history, and a Civil War buff. Quite naturally for a Galesburg resident, he’s a rail fan and a former model railroader.
