Bill Hojecki

Born in 1965, my 2 great passions have always been G.I. Joe and sports (especially baseball). Although I grew up in a "Yankee" household, my favorite team was the Indians. That is, until the birth of the Marlins. My fandom was cemented when I met manager Jack McKeon after they won the World Series. He's from a town near where I grew up, and we were at a fund-raiser together. A genuinely nice man. But, more about me.

I've always been interested in computer since Junior High School. Over the course of the last 20+ years, my career path has taken me through all you can do with computers. Programming, network, databases... you name it, I've probably done it at some point.

My BBW career began way back with the DOS version 1. Only it wasn't called Baseball for Windows back then. But I've been playing the APBA/Miller game ever since. I run several leagues, and am a member in good standing in a total of 10 leagues (right now, anyway). I've played the board game since 1979, and been a Strat-o-matic player even longer.

Oh yeah.... my other passion. GI Joe. I'm an avid collector, belong to several clubs. I still have not attended an "official" convention, but will do so either this year or next. I can proudly boast almost 200 figures in my collection.
