Dale H. Jones, MBA, CPA

Dale Jones joined Bruce Harrell & Company in December of 1987. He received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1977, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA).
Prior to joining the firm, Dale had seven years of experience in the design of grant programs and special projects, ranging from securing federal funds to administration of federal funds. He also had three years of experience in management consulting for utility districts, including the design and implementation of computerized utility billing systems. Since coming to our firm, Dale has added over fifteen years of experience in auditing governmental entities and continued to consult with utility districts on management and data processing systems.
Dale
prepares initial audit plans for review by the Audit Manager and/or Partner-in-Charge; coordinates audit field work and supervises the engagement staff; and prepares periodic status reports of audit field work and prepares audit reports at the direction of the Audit Manager. He also completes field work and prepares reports for review and compilation engagements and prepares individual and corporate tax returns.Dale maintains the firm's audit and accounting technical library and works extensively with the Business Services Unit.
