GENERAL STAFF QUALIFICATIONS

The greatest asset at Bruce Harrell and Company is our people.

 

BHC serves a wide variety of business interests. All professional accountants in the firm must master general accounting and auditing skills to effectively serve all our clients.

 

Every member of our professional staff is an accounting graduate from an accredited university. BHC also provides continuing professional education and encourages all professional staff to successfully complete the uniform CPA examination.  Presently, five members have earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant.

 

The emphasis on education at Bruce Harrell and Company does not end with preparation for the CPA examination. All staff must attend at least 40 hours of continuing professional education each year. Additional continuing education is required for those on our team involved in governmental audits.

 

Not all education comes from the classroom and/or books.  Entry level personnel receive on-the-job training under close supervision by senior accountants.
